La Trappe Tripel
La Trappe Tripel is a top fermentation beer, re-fermented in the bottle. It is a dark blond beer, with a fresh flavor and notes of coriander and other herbs. It has a full, rich flavor, and a dry and slightly bitter aftertaste. It has an alcohol content of 8.0%.
The Trappist Abbey ‘De Koningshoeven’ where the La Trappe beers are brewed is located in the Netherlands, near Tilburg. The monks there have been brewing since 1884, and in 1958 they started the successful range of La Trappe beers. These are all top fermented beers, but in a variety of different styles
